11th Pa. Cavalry (108th Pa. Volunteers)
Iowa, New York and New Jersey. Had moniker "Harlan's Light Cavalry." Saw action in 13 engagements including Seven Pines, Petersburg and Appomattox. 290 enlisted men and officers died of injury or illness during service. Regiment mustered out August 1865 in Richmond. 23 of its stray men went through Camp Discharge, including 16 Andersonville survivors.
