12th Pa. Cavalry (113th Pa. Infantry)
Recruited in 1861 in Philadelphia, Chester and six other Pa. counties, plus West Virginia. Involved in 3 engagements: Second Bull Run, Antietam and Second Winchester. Lost 142 enlisted men and officers to wounds or illness during service. 13 died at Andersonville. 21 of its men spent time at Camp Discharge, including 5 Andersonville survivors.
