61st Pa. Infantry

Regiment recruited in 1861 in Philadelphia, Allegheny, Indiana and Luzerne Counties. Attached to Army of the Potomac. Battle actions included at Fair Oaks, Antietam, Fredericksburg, Gettysburg, Wilderness, Cold Harbor and Petersburg. Lost 338 enlisted men and officers to injury and sickness. 1 of its men went through Camp Discharge.
