Had been in 2nd Pa. Reserves Co. H, mustering in Aug. 1, 1864, in Sandy Hook, Md., at age 30, a plasterer. Promoted to 1st sergeant May 1863, and commissioned 2d lieutenant September 1863. Reduced to sergeant May 1864. Mustered out with company June 16, 1864.
