198th Pa. Infantry
Recruited in Montgomery, Philadelphia, Berks, Cambria, Monroe, and Luzerne Counties. Took part in 11 actions including Petersburg, Appomattox, and Five Forks. 117 enlisted men and officers succumbed to wounds and illness during service. Regiment took part in Grand Review in D.C. and mustered out June 3 in northern Virginia. 10 of its men passed through Camp Discharge.
