145th Pa. Infantry
Recruited in 1862 in Erie, Warren and Mercer Counties. Took part in 16 engagements including Antietam, Fredericksburg, Chancellorsville, Gettysburg, Wilderness, Spotsylvania CH, Cold Harbor, Petersburg and Appomattox. 422 enlisted men and officers died from wounds or illness during service. 49 died at Andersonville, 6 at Florence. Regiment mustered out May 31, 1865. 1 of its men, an Andersonville survivor, transited Camp Discharge.
