32nd Pa. Infantry (3rd Pa. Reserves)
Regiment formed in 1861 with men from Philadelphia, Bucks, Berks and Wayne Counties. Became part of Army of the Potomac (I Corps, XXII Corps). Involved in 11 combat engagements including Mechanicsville, Malvern Hill, Second Bull Run, Antietam, Fredericksburg, and Winchester. Suffered 127 fatalities from injuries or illness. Regiment mustered out June 17, 1864. 8 of its men went through Camp Discharge, including 3 Andersonville survivors.
