Abstract: In the early 1900s, Frederick Philips purchased 800 acres off Spring Mill Road, Villanova including several 18th century farmhouses and structures; he named the property Stoke Poges and remodeled several of the farmhouses; later owners continued to remodel the the buildings into private homes
