Title: Stoke Poges, Home of Frederick Philips, Villanova
Abstract: In the early 1900s, Frederick Philips purchased 800 acres off Spring Mill Road, Villanova with several 18th century farmhouses and structures; he named the property Stoke Poges and remodeled several of the farmhouses; later owners continued to remodel the the buildings into homes
