Entered service Sept. 29, 1861, in Harrisburg at age 46, a farmer from Landisburg. Recorded Oct. 3, 1864, at Camp Discharge, sick and sent to Haddington Hospital in Phila., where he died Dec. 3, 1864, apparently of typhoid fever.
