Wounded in action at Bermuda Hundred, Va., May 20, 1864,again severely in arm by shell in trenches near Cemetery Hill, Va., Aug. 29, 1864. Recorded at Camp Discharge Feb. 24, 1865. Hospitalized there for burns March 10, 1865. Discharged from hospital March 20, to date from Sept. 17, 1864, expiration of term.
