Mustered in Oct. 15, 1861, in West Chester at age 28, a foundryman. Wounded in action (ankle dislocated) at James Island, S.C., June 10, 1862. Discharged from Camp Discharge Oct. 15, 1864, expiration of term. Recorded present at camp until Nov. 10, 1864. Also served in 9th Pa. Infantry.
