138th Pa. Infantry

Recruited in 1862 in Montgomery (Cos. A, C, & I), Bucks, Adams and Bedford Counties. Took part in 13 engagements including Wilderness, Spotsylvania CH, Cold Harbor, and Petersburg. 167 enlisted men and officers died of injury or illness during service. Regimented mustered out June 23, 1865. 1 of its men passed through Camp Discharge.
