Max Buten

Living History With Ted Goldsborough

Max Buten, LMHS 1950, lived on Bowman Avenue in Merion. Max’s family moved from Wynnefield in the early 1940’s to become among the early Jewish families to settle in Lower Merion Township. He and his family owned Buten Paint Stores. Max’s father collected and displayed Wedgwood china at the Buten Museum of Wedgewood. Recorded June-July 2012
